πŸš¨πŸ‡΅πŸ‡Έ BREAKING: The Weeknd Donates $2.5 Million to Feed Starving Children in Gaza

In a world often clouded by silence and indifference, The Weeknd has once again shown that true stardom shines brightest through compassion.

The Grammy-winning Canadian singer, born Abel Tesfaye, has made headlines β€” not for a chart-topping hit this time, but for an extraordinary act of humanity.

He has donated a staggering $2.5 million β€” enough to provide food aid for over 170,000 meals β€” to help starving children in Gaza.

As the crisis in Gaza deepens, with thousands of families displaced and children suffering the brutal consequences of war and hunger, The Weeknd’s donation arrives as a lifeline.

According to the World Food Programme (WFP), the artist’s contribution will be used to provide emergency food parcels containing essentials like flour, rice, lentils, chickpeas, and canned goods β€” helping over 173,000 people survive in a region where many go days without a meal.

> β€œThis is more than a donation β€” it’s a statement of solidarity, of love, and of global citizenship,” said a WFP spokesperson.

🌎 Not His First Act of Kindness

The Weeknd is no stranger to giving. Over the years, he has:

Donated $1 million to COVID-19 relief

Gave $500,000 to Black Lives Matter causes

Pledged $1 million to Ethiopia during the Tigray crisis

Served as a UN Goodwill Ambassador since 2021

His mission is clear: use fame not just for fame’s sake, but as a force for global good.
