Kingsley Enagbare has been a steady rotational piece for the Green Bay Packers since arriving as a fifth-round pick in 2022, but his spot on the 2025 roster is far from guaranteed.
While he’s had flashes over his three seasons, the depth chart around him has grown increasingly crowded. With Lukas Van Ness still in the mix, Rashan Gary entrenched as a starter and new faces like Barryn Sorrell pushing for reps, Enagbare suddenly finds himself on the roster bubble.
Listed among his “notable cuts” in his latest 53-man roster projection, Acme Packing Company’s Justis Mosqueda doesn’t believe Enagbare will stick around.
“Lukas Van Ness is getting most of the “starting” looks opposite of Rashan Gary in camp so far, and the coaching staff continues to talk about Brenton Cox Jr.’s ability,” Mosqueda wrote on July 30.
“There may only be room for one veteran backup at this position, which will make the competition intense as we approach cutdowns.”
