A previous Bulldog and offensive lineman who secured a national championship is making a return to Athens, now taking on the role of a graduate assistant.

The Georgia Bulldogs expanded their coaching staff this week by welcoming Warren Ericson, who will assume the role of a graduate assistant for the offensive line throughout the 2024 season.

Warren Ericson, who played for the Bulldogs from 2018 to 2022, showcased his versatility by playing various positions on the offensive line. He played a pivotal role in the team’s two national championship victories. After receiving a mini-camp invitation from the Denver Broncos following the 2022 season, Ericson took on the role of offensive quality control coach at Wofford before returning to his alma mater.

Warren Ericson is now part of a Bulldogs coaching staff with a strong desire to make a comeback in the national championship scene and extend their dominance in college football. The team’s upcoming season will kick off in Atlanta on August 31, as they face the Clemson Tigers.
