The San Diego Padres have unveiled their lineup for the upcoming Spring Breakout series scheduled for March 14-17. Among the roster are five prospects who rank in MLB’s top-100, providing them with an opportunity to showcase their talents during this inaugural event.

Snelling (No. 36), Lesko (No. 56), and Thorpe (No. 85) are all among MLB’s top-100 prospects.

The catching lineup is headlined by 17-year-old Ethan Salas, who holds the No. 8 spot on MLB Pipeline’s prospect rankings. Additionally, catchers Brandon Valenzuela and J.D. Gonzalez have secured spots on the roster.

Infielders for the Padres include Jackson Merrill, Leodalis De Vries, Graham Pauley, Eguy Rosario, Nathan Martorella, Marcos Castañon, and Nerwilian Cedeño. Both Salas and Merrill are anticipated to contribute to the Padres’ prospects lineup in their matchup against the Seattle Mariners on March 15.
