According to Jordan Schultz of B/R, the Seahawks are set to re-sign defensive lineman Leonard Williams.

Williams, aged 29, was originally drafted in the first round by the Jets in 2015. After completing his rookie contract, which included a fifth-year option exercised by the Jets, Williams was traded to the Giants.

During his time with the Giants, Williams played under the franchise tag in both 2020 and 2021 before securing a three-year, $63 million contract extension with the team.

Last year, Williams was traded to the Seahawks and earned a base salary of $18 million for the 2023 season.

During the 2023 season, spanning 18 games with both the Giants and Seahawks, Williams amassed 41 total tackles, including nine tackles for loss, along with four sacks and one pass deflection.

He is currently listed in our Top 100 – 2024 NFL Free Agents.
