If Giancarlo Stanton replicates this performance during the regular season, the Yankees could become an unstoppable force.

Stanton delivered three colossal home runs on Wednesday night, totaling over 1,300 feet, in the Bronx Bombers’ Grapefruit League matchup against the Pirates at George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida.

His three powerful hits occurred within the first four innings, contributing significantly to the Yankees’ nine-run onslaught, with seven of those runs attributed to Stanton’s homers.

Baseball enthusiasts might be amazed by Stanton’s display and eagerly anticipate the return of the sport.

Stanton’s initial home run came in the first inning on a 1-0 pitch from Pirates starter Marco Gonzales. It was a two-run shot that Stanton launched toward center field, clearing over the batter’s eye. The fans and broadcasters were left astounded by the sheer power and trajectory of the hit.

Stanton’s second homer, an inning later, came with the bases loaded. Facing a full count, he crushed a cutter 453 feet over the left field scoreboard for a grand slam, extending the Yankees’ lead to 8-0.

Stanton’s powerful shot soared over the wall with an exit velocity of 113.2 mph. In the fourth inning, he crushed another one to left-center field, measuring at 426 feet. These home runs brought his RBI count to seven through three at-bats. These impressive performances from Stanton came shortly after hitting his first home run of the spring in a game against the Blue Jays.

The recent developments are encouraging as Stanton aims to rebound from one of the worst seasons of his career in 2023, during which injuries restricted him to 101 games and he batted just .191. Stanton emphasized earlier this month that his performance in spring games this year carries significant importance.

Stanton mentioned, “Not necessarily the results, but how I feel and the adjustments I’m making in the cage, focusing on seeing the ball, timing, and everything.” The Yankees are set to kick off the regular season next Thursday away against the Astros.

New York Yankees right fielder Giancarlo Stanton (27) hits a two-run home run against the Toronto Blue Jays in the third inning at George M. Steinbrenner Field.
