Oklahoma State has secured a new commitment for its 2025 class as three-star wide receiver Royal Capell announced his decision to join the Cowboys.

Capell, who had offers from other notable schools like Oklahoma, Baylor, and Houston, visited OSU over the weekend before confirming his commitment this week.

With Capell’s addition, OSU is gaining a skilled receiver who showcased his talent at Steele High School in Texas, where he contributed both as a receiver and in rushing.

Standing at 5-foot-10 and weighing 190 pounds, Capell’s athleticism has earned him a spot on a power five team.

He joins fellow wide receiver commits Kameron Powell and Matrail Lopez in the Cowboys’ 2025 class, as the team aims to build a strong offense for the future.

This move is crucial for OSU as they aim to remain competitive in the evolving landscape of the Big 12 conference under the leadership of Mike Gundy and Kasey Dunn.
