LAFC will host Loudoun United FC from the United Soccer League Championship (USLC, Division II) in the Round of 16 of the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup on May 21 at 7:30 p.m. PT at BMO Stadium.
Tickets for the crucial match will go on sale this week, priced at $20 for general admission seats and $15 for the Supporters’ Section. Fans can purchase tickets at https://www.lafc.com/tickets/.
The match will be broadcast live on usopencup.com, MLSSoccer.com, and uslsoccer.com.
LAFC secured their spot in the Round of 16 with a 3-1 victory over USLC team Las Vegas Lights FC on May 8 in Las Vegas, thanks to Kei Kamara’s first goal for the club and two goals from Cristian Olivera.
The U.S. Open Cup, the oldest national soccer tournament in the United States, features professional and amateur teams vying for the prestigious title and an automatic berth in next year’s Concacaf Champions Cup. The 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup includes 96 amateur and professional teams, including eight MLS clubs, competing in a total of 95 games from March to September.
This marks LAFC’s fifth appearance in the U.S. Open Cup. The club’s best performance in the tournament came in 2018 when they reached the Semifinals.
