Head coach Eli Drinkwitz secured his third 4-star recruit in three days with the addition of a top-ten offensive tackle.

Missouri Football, led by Eli Drinkwitz, has added another 4-star commit, this time offensive tackle Lamont Rogers. Hailing from Mesquite, Texas, Rogers is the third offensive line commitment for the Tigers and the 15th overall in the 2025 class.

According to On3 Composite Rankings, Rogers is ranked No. 60 nationally, No. 7 among offensive tackles, and No. 12 in Texas. Most recruiting sites rank him in the top 100, with 247Sports placing him at 103.

Rogers becomes the second highest-ranked recruit in Missouri’s current class, joining 4-star OT Jack Lange (ranked No. 125) and 3-star OT Henry Fenuku.

Throughout his recruitment, Rogers considered multiple teams, with Texas and Oklahoma initially appearing to be his likely destinations. However, Missouri gained momentum in the later stages of his recruitment. Rogers ultimately chose Missouri over a top-six list that included SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, and Florida State. He also had offers from LSU, Tennessee, USC, Ohio State, and others.

Missouri’s recent recruiting surge has significantly boosted their national rankings, moving them from 19th to 14th. The Tigers could climb even higher with the potential commitment of 4-star DB Charles Bass on July 10.

With 15 commitments now official, Missouri is nearing the completion of their class. If Bass commits, it will bring the total to 16. The Tigers are also focusing on 3-star OL Keiton Jones, 4-star OT Andrew Babalola, 3-star TE Trent Oiler, and 4-star DL Iose Epenesa to round out their recruitment efforts.
