The Denver Broncos are looking for a new owner in what’s expected to be the most expensive team sale in U.S. sports history. The Pat D. Bowlen Trust announced Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, it's in the “beginning of a sale process” for the franchise that's valued at $4 billion and is expected to draw heavy bidding that could push the sale price well beyond that figure.(AP Photo/Jack Dempsey, File)

Veteran cornerback K’Waun Williams, who missed the entirety of the previous season, is aiming for a comeback to the field in 2024.

According to Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette, Williams has received medical clearance after sitting out last season. He was placed on injured reserve by the Broncos due to an ankle injury sustained during the summer and underwent a second surgery in October, leading to his absence for the remainder of the year.

Tomasson’s report indicates that Williams was cleared earlier this month and has engaged in discussions with teams. However, he is likely to wait until after the draft before committing to any specific team.

In 2022, Williams appeared in 14 games for the Broncos, tallying 44 tackles, an interception, and a sack. Throughout his NFL career, which began in 2014, he has also played for the 49ers and Browns.
