The Sydney Roosters have reportedly secured the services of two promising young siblings as part of their long-term plans.

Considered a significant achievement in recruitment, the Roosters are already grooming Lindsay Collins and Spencer Leniu as key figures in their forward pack, with the expectation that the newly signed brothers will learn and develop alongside them.

As per News Corp reports, Xavier Va’a and De La Salle Va’a have committed to the Roosters until the culmination of the 2026 season, extending their contracts by two years.

Xavier, the elder sibling aged 20, notably led the Queensland team in last year’s Under-19s State of Origin and is anticipated to fill the void left by the retiring Jared Waaerea-Hargreaves in the front row next season.

Having joined the Roosters in 2021, Xavier boasts a stature of approximately 193cm and 116kg. Meanwhile, his younger brother, De La Salle, stands impressively tall at 194cm and weighs 115kg at just 15 years old.
